Today's painting is another "plein air" piece painted on location along the river walk downtown. The Henley Street Bridge is undergoing a three year re-furbishing, and its quite interesting to watch  and paint the different stages of de-construction and now new construction The painting was created in the rain and with a jack-hammer screaming above my head, not that it makes a difference but it is the adventure of it all.
This piece is an unframed 6 x 8 oil on a canvas mounted on panel.

Today's painting is of the Shrimp Dock in Bearden on Kingston Pike, one of my favorite places to pick up some fresh Gulf shrimp, fish, mussels or oysters..yum! You can even stop in for lunch and enjoy a shrimp po-boy! I was inspired by their striking new blue & white awning set behind their red umbrellas.
This is an original, unframed, oil painting on panel.

(3 weeks late)  This piece is an unframed 7 x 5 oil on a "clayboard art panel."
