7"x 5" Oil on canvas panel, 2009
SOLD
Today's painting is of the Market Square Fountains, downtown Knoxville. This is a favorite spot for kids who come to the square during the summer months to cool off and play in the bubbling water or to get ice cream at the Marble Slab Creamery or pizza at the Tomato Head, both of which are included in this painting.

Henley Street Bridge at Night
The bridge was built in the 1930's and spans over the Tennessee River and is the site for one of the largest fireworks displays in the south: Boomsday! Thank you to my friend Kurt Weiss for inspiring me to do this postcard painting.

Sunday in the Park
Today's Painting is a view from Market Square looking south towards the Federal Courthouse. These wonderful old trees create a canopy of shade over a lush green area of grass just perfect for picnics or to simply sit in the shade.
