Today's painting is a pastel painting of the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville. The Emporium was built in 1895 and started as a men's clothing Emporium as well as many other things until 2006 when it was redesigned by Dewhirst Properties into studios, galleries, offices and apartments. The Emporium Center is the home of the Knoxville Arts & Culture Alliance and also my studio for the last eight years. This building is the cornerstone of First Fridays downtown and hosts many weddings and other special occasions within its walls.
The painting is matted in a white mat and framed in a simple black frame, its overall size is 11 x 14.
