Today's painting is of the south window inside St. John's Cathedral on Cumberland Avenue downtown.  The church was founded in 1826, just 35 years after Knoxville was founded.  The original building was destroyed by fire in 1919.  Thank you to the church secretary for allowing me to come in and photograph this beautiful cathedral!
